HOW TO GET TO SHANNON:

By Car: Shannon town is well connected with the rest of the country, due to it being close to Limerick city (about twenty kilometers). The recent major alterations along the N7 motorway, the N20 (Cork - Limerick) (Dublin - Limerick), the N18 (Galway - Limerick) and have it a lot more accessible to get to Shannon town.

By Bus: Shannon is mostly served by Bus Eireann. A single adult fare from/to Dublin from Shannon with Bus Eireann costs €15.00, with return tickets available from €22 depending on what day of the week you are travelling.

By Train: Shannon is not served by a train station, but it is possible to travel to Limerick, and then either travel to Shannon town by taxi or bus. The city of Limerick is directly connected to Rosslare, Waterford, Cork and Dublin by Train.
