CRUSHEEN
Crusheen is a small village situated about ten kilometres (six miles) North East of Ennis in County Clare, Southern Ireland.
Crusheen lies about fourty eight kilometres (thirty miles) from both Limerick and Galway cities. The village is one of the fastest growing rural communities in County Clare and in fact, the rest of Ireland.
The population of Crusheen had rien rapidly during the Celtic Tiger years of the late nineteen nineties.
The village had grown by a huge twenty five percent beween nineteen ninety seven and two thousand and two, with more plans for new housing developments in the near future.
Crusheen is full of rugged countryside, and has fantastic views. It also has many archaeological features of interest, and is close to the famous Burren area.
The parish has several cultural, sporting and social groups, who help with it's maintenance.
