COUNTY CLARE SCENIC DRIVES
There are many scenic drives in County Clare, Ireland. One of the most popular drives is from Shannon.
If you take the N45 major route until Lahinch, then take the R478 to Liscdannor. The road leads up to the Cliffs of Moher, which are known as the highest in Europe.
There are panoramic views from the cliffs, where you can look out to the Arran Islands. Then you can drive through the village of Doolin, and turn onto the R477 road.
This road leads through some of the most scenic part of the County. After passing through the Burren, the road approaches the beach at Fenore, and carry's on to Galway Bay.
Another route travels through the back roads, and continues through the Burren in the North West of County Clare.
