BALLYVAUGHAN, COUNTY CLARE
Ballyvaughan is a is a small harbour village located in County Clare, Ireland. The village lies on the at the confluence of the Atlantic and Galway Bay, and is one of the most enjoyable villages in the West of Ireland.
The village of Ballyvaughan is a very busy place with restaurants, public houses, shops and Guest houses.
Other amenities include the pier and slipway, which was built back in 2006, which has expanded the area to many maritime activities, including boating, fishing, scuba diving, and many more.
There are many small islands located off the coast of Ballyvaghan, including Green Island, Gall Island and Black Island, and are all encompassed by the Ballyvaughan reef.
In recent yeards Ballyvaughan has been called the Gold Coast of Ireland,because of the huge boom in property prices in this region. The increase in demand for holiday homes, had experienced the average house price increase tenfold.
