ARDNACRUSHA, COUNTY CLARE
Ardnacrusha is a village located in County Clare, Ireland. It lies on the North bank of the River Shannon, and is so named from 'Ard Na Croise' (the height of the Cross).
The village of Ardnacrusha lies close to the site of the famous Ardnacrusha hydroelectic power plant built back in the nineteen twenties.
